Allerede i 1980 blev der afholdt en afstemning i Sverige om sp\u00f8rgsm\u00e5let. Som f\u00f8lge heraf besluttede Parlamentet, at alle reaktorer skulle v\u00e6re nedlagt inden 2010.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Det er ikke sket &#8211; i dag er der seks aktive reaktorer &#8211; i Forsmark, Oskarshamn og Ringhals. Der findes to forskellige typer, nemlig trykvandsreaktorer og kogevandsreaktorer. Begge fungerer efter samme grundprincip &#8211; vand opvarmes for at drive en turbine og en generator til at producere elektricitet.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Enkel forklaring p\u00e5, hvordan et atomkraftv\u00e6rk fungerer<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Men tilbage til dagens sp\u00f8rgsm\u00e5l: &#8220;Hvordan fungerer et atomkraftv\u00e6rk?&#8221;. Selvf\u00f8lgelig er der en kompliceret fysik bag, hvis man g\u00e5r i detaljer. Den bruges til at opvarme vand til produktion af damp.<\/li><li>Den varme damp driver igen en turbine med en generator.<\/li><li>Det er denne generator i atomkraftv\u00e6rket, der i sidste ende producerer den elektricitet, du \u00f8nsker. Generatoren omdanner turbinens roterende blade til elektricitet ved at rotere magneterne i spolerne.
