He took an early interest in politics and was active in the Swedish Social Democratic Youth League.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the age of 26, he completed his law degree at Uppsala University and has since held several high-profile positions. For example, as a teacher at the Department of Law in Uppsala, a notary public and head of the Ministry of Justice. Between 2001 and 2009, G\u00f6ran Lambertz was also the Chancellor of Justice.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">G\u00f6ran Lambertz and Susanne Lambertz<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 1975 G\u00f6ran Lambertz got married, and the couple G\u00f6ran Lambertz Susanne Lambertz stayed together until 2018 when Susanne passed away after a period of illness.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A scandal-ridden lawyer<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although G\u00f6ran Lambertz can be said to have had a successful career, it has been marked by a number of scandals. Perhaps the most famous of which is his involvement in the Quicka affair.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was Lambertz who, in his role as Chancellor of Justice, investigated and then ruled that the investigations into Thomas Quick did not need to be reviewed. He long defended his position as well as the convictions of Thomas Quick.
