When you’re really fed up with your partner, you might ask yourself questions like “how long does it take to go to March” and “can I send my partner with a one-way ticket to March”. Reasonable questions, of course.
NASA, which knows a lot about space, sent a spacecraft to Mars in 2020. It took seven months for the craft to arrive. Without ice cream and pee breaks, one must assume. There are, so far, a limited number of space tasters on the route. At present, there are no operators running the route with ordinary private individuals, although private space tourism is in its infancy, with space-enthusiast millionaires leading the way. Your partner will therefore have to stay on earth, for a while longer.
Maybe it’s you who needs to get away for a bit? How about a sun holiday? If so, choose something other than Mars. Because the planet is further away from the Sun than Earth, it is much colder. Even on the sunny side of Mars, temperatures are very low, with minus degrees around the clock. Then maybe another plane is a better destination?

Good thinking, perhaps Uranus has better conditions for a sun holiday? Unfortunately, the journey is a bit long, as it takes about eight years to get to Uranus. Although the temperature is nicer than on Mars, the climate is unusual. Winters on Uranus last for forty-two Earth years. It’s probably easier to choose something a little closer to home. Askersund, for example. Or make up with your partner and go on a normal, earthly holiday.
